Route 40 Road Trip
NOV 28 - DEC 12, 2023
Ruta 40 winds its way through most of Argentina and is known internationally as one of the world’s classic road trips. The Ruta 40 Road Trip is our signature hosted adventure: join us for an incredible two-week fly fishing trip where we combine some of the best fishing in Argentina from both the northern and southern regions. We are timing the trip in Patagonia during early summer when all the rivers are fresh, hatches are starting and fish are eager to eat! We have taken a particularly trouty section of Ruta 40 from Esquel in the south to San Martin de los Andes in the north. We will be fishing along the entire way with our good friends from El Encuentro Fly Fishing and Patagonia Nomads.
NOVEMBER 11-18, 2023
Join Justin and Marco for a hosted trip to Jurasic Lake and the Barancosso River in the Santa Cruz province. The early season is a fantastic time to chase giant rainbows. If you want to travel to the southern reaches of the world in search of a fish of a lifetime; this is the place to go!
March 23-30, 2024
Join BSA guides Miles Marquez and Earl James on this hosted week full of nonstop action, endless access, extreme variety, and world-renowned trout. Two strategically located lodges put guests at the heart of an extensive assortment of fisheries, including Río and Lago Yelcho, Río Futaleufú, Río and Lago Rosselot, Río Figueroa, Río Pico, and others that are too numerous to list, while jet boats, rafts, catarafts, and hybrid power drifters deliver never-repeated days.
Jardines de la Reina
The Jardines is considered one of the best and most well preserved ecosystems in all of the Caribbean, it was established as a marine reserve by Fidel Castro many years ago under the urging of his amigo Jacques Cousteau. Its distance from the mainland has kept it protected from Cuban and international fishing vessels and it is a remarkable environment. The reefs here are spectacular and are well known for diving as well as fishing. This is one of the best locations in the world to Flyfishing for tarpon and this week is in the middle of high season.
