Tungsten BH Guide Dip

This is a guide staple around our area, especially on the Madison. The segmented body and white wing tuft plays double duty as a caddis and midge pupa.

This fly is especially effective on the "fifty mile riffle" during September when free-living Rhyacophilia caddis are in abundance.

We have this version tied with a tungsten bead for the shop by local fly tying legend Arrick Swanson, to add some extra fishy mojo.
