BSA Jojo's Nocturnal Stone

Big foam flies are a staple around Yellowstone Country and this fly definitely fits the bill. Joe actually started fishing it during the Golden Stone fly hatch on the Henry’s Fork and then kept using it all the way through the summer on the Madison for the golden stone hatch, then the nocturnal hatch and then finally for hoppers. When he first came up with it around 2010, we were fishing it by stripping it off the banks on early morning guide trip runs below Lyon Bridge using 6lb Maxima! The legs give movement and the foam helps keep it floating for hours. Recently we started fishing it Argentina with great success as well.
