High N Dry was founded by a team that included two accomplished professional chemists with relentlessly curious minds—together holding more than 100 U.S. patents. While Vince has since passed, Ken continues to refine existing formulas and develop new products, ensuring High N Dry remains at the forefront of fly-fishing innovation.

From the beginning, the goal was simple: do better. The founders scientifically evaluated every floatant on the market and found most to be solvent-based, flammable, environmentally unfriendly, and underwhelming in performance. By closely studying materials, design, and real-world effectiveness, they set out to create something different.
