Henry's Fork Micro Golden Stone
Lawson’s Henry’s Fork Golden Stone in any size is one of those flies that sits on the water and looks exactly like you want it to from the angler’s perspective. It has the right shade of color to perfectly mimic the bug it represents, floats well, and is just hard enough to see that the angler FEELS certain a trout is going to eat it. Golden Stoneflies come in all sorts of sizes around Yellowstone Country and they can be found on our waters from late May through early September. We have this smaller version of the original tied especially for our bins. The Micro version can be fished with confidence and fishes well from the height of the hatch through the end of the summer season, this is a strong add to your stonefly and caddis selection.
