BSA Heames' Jig Rubberlegs - Black
The rubberlegs nymph has long been the stonefly nymph imitation of choice here in Yellowstone Country, our rivers run with strong populations of these meaty morsels and they are without a doubt one of the most productive flies in the area as a whole. Our tungsten-beaded, jig rubberlegs is tied in our most popular sizes and meant to be used on all sorts of nymphing rigs when a fly that sinks quickly and rides hook point up is needed. The matte black bead eliminates the sheen and blends right in with the material color to make it more convincing to discerning trout. This fly is a perfect selection for a point fly on a euro nymphing rig, makes a great dropper under a large dry, and is well-suited for an indicator nymphing rig. A half dozen of these is a great asset in any Yellowstone Country fly box!
