BSA Heames' PMD Klinkhammer
This fly was carefully designed and perfected after years of guiding on the Railroad Ranch on the Henry’s Fork in the technical months of July, August and September. This is a timeframe where the Ranch experiences heavy PMD emergences in the late summer months and the emergences happen quickly due to the summer heat and high sun. The fly imitates a PMD coming out of its shuck and the colors match the trailing shuck of the emerging Pale Morning Dun. The shuck material is made from marabou and is meant to move in the current to imitate the quickly swimming emergent nymphs of late summer.
