It turns out that bigger is not always better. Micro versions of the fish catchin’ Chubby Chernobyl are a great option for fishing in our area, as well as nationwide. Certain color variations effectively match our smaller stoneflies and larger caddis, as well as spruce moths and other terrestrials. The rest serve well as general attractor patterns, perhaps like modern versions of classics like Wulffs, Humpies, and Stimulators.
