Mike and his lovely wife Courtney live on a tributary of the Missouri River just downstream of Craig, Montana and are part of a small group of hearty folks who live on the Mo’ year around. Mike began his career as a fishing guide 12 years ago after attending Montana State University and receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He guides the Missouri River over 160 days each season and guides the river year around. Mike is a teaching guide and known for his uncanny ability to find large trout in shallow water. He is a true character of the Missouri River and day with Mike is one folks will never forget; his calendar fills quickly each year for a reason. When not on the river, Mike spends his time chasing birds with Annie, his yellow Lab, or looking for big game with Greg Falls.
